Strengthening Collaboration:Lilypond Export Customs Receives ANLCA Western Zone Coordinator

In a continued efforts to sustain stronger ties and collaboration in maintaining high standard operational efficiency, the Lilypond Export Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, had on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, received the Western Zone Coordinator of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Alhaji Femi Anifowose, who paid the command a courtesy visit in a bid to strengthen stakeholder engagement and foster collaboration in export trade facilitation.

During the visit as contained in the press statement made available to the media by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASCI Olusola-Oke, the Customs Area Controller of the Command, Comptroller S.O. Ariyibi, while receiving the delegation, noted that the Service maintains a cordial working relationship with licensed customs agents in line with its mandate, as he emphasized that the Service operates within established rules and regulations while promoting synergy with stakeholders to enhance efficient service delivery.

The CAC further reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to facilitating export trade, thereby supporting economic growth and boosting foreign exchange earnings for the nation.

However, in his remarks, the Chairman of ANLCA, Prince Olawale Cole, commended the CAC for his efforts in promoting export activities at the Command and assured him of the Association’s continued support and cooperation.

Similarly, the ANLCA Western Zone Coordinator, Alhaji Femi Anifowose, reiterated the Association’s commitment to sustained collaboration with the Service and expressed support for initiatives aimed at improving export operations.

Again, Comptroller Ariyibi, while appreciating the delegation’s visit, further reaffirmed the Command’s readiness to maintain constructive engagement with stakeholders.
